We just returned from taking the family up the coast all week. We stayed each night in a different coastal city from Montecito to San Luis Obispo. We discovered so many amazing beaches, hikes, parks, etc. and just hung out together. It's quite the adventure sleeping all 9 of us in one hotel room each night, but the kids did great. It was one of our favorite trips ever. It's always great to be home. Here are a few photos.

SO COOL! Looks like an awesome and memorable trip!
What fun! My family took that trip twice when I was a kid. We went about as far as PCH could take us. I treasure the memories. So will your lucky kids! Oh, and we camped half the time. 9 in a hotel room was probably better.
wow...I have always wanted to do a trip like that! So cool! I'm glad you guys had fun...it was fun looking at your pics!!!!!
I've always wanted to do that! Looks like everyone had a good time.
You guys are so awesome about getting away for the weekend. I love all your mini trips. Grady and I need to get to it.
Great pictures!
You guys have to be the cutest family I have ever seen!! Can I just tell you again how I adore that you get to go to the beach anytime!! It looks like such a fun trip, glad to see you guys are doing good :)
I have the exact same picture that you have at the beach in San Louis Opispo but with my family in it. Clay was born there and his grandmother still lives there, so we get out there every once in a while.
Looks like a fun trip! Wish we were still out that way so we could take a trip like that with our kids.
Your family is such an inspiration of "get up and go"!! I loved the pictures and love how you guys do everything as a family. Everyone looks so happy and are getting so big! Send me your email address and I'll send you the donut recipe! It's super easy!
I remember the family trips in the full-size van when I was younger. I don't really miss them, but I remember them. It looks like you had a killer time!
Sweet trip, you guys are always having fun. I can't wait to take my kids to all the fun places that you guys went to. Right now the focus is on keeping our two year old son from causing himself bodily harm, and our nine month old daughter who won't take a bottle. Poor Mom needs a break...
Hey guys, so glad we both have blogs, it's a fun way to keep in touch!!Can't believe you have 7 kids, I can barely handle my 4, you guys are amazing. Looks like a fun trip up the coast, we'd love to do that someday. Fun to see your cute family, looks like your all doing well! Keep in touch!!
