The Red Beast

We finally just bit the bullet and got a monster. Vans are never very exciting to purchase but it's going to be nice to finally have a little elbow room.

When Tyler and I first got inside we just started busting up. This is going to be an adventure.

Yes, we both know that there is nothing cool about driving a van. ha. We gave that up a long time ago.

wow! i have never met anybody with a van like that. I've heard normal people drove stuff like this, never actually seen it though. The only people I kind of knew that drove something like this was the "A-Team" back in the 80's. Can you get Mr. T as an upgrade:) I know people with mini vans but this, this is another level. let me know how you guys do on your commercial driver's license test.

Nice Ty, I like the van. You never told me you had a blog. You have a beautiful family, congrats on the new baby as well, I was praying that you would not have any issues like we did. Sorry to scare you like I did.

Nice van! I wonder if the kids will miss the 5 gallon bucket they sat on in the minivan. I'm proud of you.

I know a guy who does really cool airbrushing. You could get a dragon or a wizard or something like that. Pick up some bead curtains, you know.

You are soooo ready to be placed in scouting. Both of you.

Awsome! Now that you have a car that fits your family you should look for a house that fits your family. And, what do you know, there's one right next door to us that is for sale. It has seven bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms, as well as three living areas. Come and see it!

I really want a Toyota Highlander. That way I can keep my cool reputation with an SUV and have room for the kiddies. But if I ever have to break down and buy a Van, Steve, will you have your friends airbrush my Highlander on the side?

When we went from a suburban to a van, I said "I don't want to look like the typical Mormon mom...van, fat(sorry), 10 kids"...Rick said..."but you are a mormon mom with 10 kids (kindly left off the fat part)"....so yeah we drive a 15 passenger van and it's been great to us...everyone in Fruitland knows us, I even avoided a ticket while driving a smaller unfamiliar car, the officer said "Oh you are the family with the big van"...yes that would be me and he didn't give me a ticket...Just wait until your kids start carrying though....Teenagers that hide when the squealing tires come to pick them up or when 9 other kids are yelling out the window "love you"...Good times...
